BBBofC releases champions’ orders

Several champions are scheduled for a September 11th purse bid
The British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) has given its wide assortment of champions and top contenders their marching orders, acknowledging the upcoming or in-development matchups while setting deadlines for a number of purse bids.
In descending order of weight:
Heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois: no orders. He’s already booked to fight Ebenezer Tetteh on September 27th.
Cruiserweight champion Lawrence Okolie: September 11th purse bid against Jack Massey, whom he was supposed to fight on July 6th before “One Smack” injured his arm.
Light heavyweight champion Joshua Buatsi: September 11th purse bid against Craig Richards. Buatsi is set to face Ryan Ford on August 31st without his British title on the line. Kody Davies and Craig Richards are set to go at it in an eliminator, but there’s no date or location yet.
Super middleweight: Lerrone Richards and Lennox Clarke have a September 11th bid for the vacant title.
Middleweight champion Liam Williams: September 11th bid vs. Andrew Robinson.
Super welterweight champion Ted Cheeseman: will face Scott Fitzgerald, date/location pending. Fitzgerald upset Anthony Fowler in March and was set to fight Brian Rose last month before suffering an injury.
Welterweight champion Chris Jenkins: will fight Liam Taylor, date/location pending
Super lightweight: Robbie Davies Jr. has vacated. Sam O’Maison and Kayamba Prospere will fight in an eliminator on September 7th at York Hall.
Lightweight champion Joe Cordina: set to face Gavin Gwynne on the August 31st Lomachenko-Campbell card. Craig Evans and James Tennyson will fight in an eliminator, date/location pending.
Super featherweight champion Sam Holder: waiting on new date/location for defense against Anthony Cacace.
Featherweight champion Ryan Walsh: no orders. He won a split decision over Lewis Paulin in June.
Super bantamweight champion Brad Foster: will face Lucien Reid on September 14th as part of a Sunny Edwards-led card in York Hall.
Bantamweight champion Ukashir Farooq: fights Duane Winters this Saturday in Glasgow. Winner to face Lee McGregor, with Scott Allan and Marc Leach fighting for the next slot on September 19th at the same Glasgow venue.
Super flyweight: vacant.
Flyweight champion Andrew Selby: will face Jay Harris, date/location pending. Harris faces Paddy Barnes in Belfast on October 11th.
