Ramirez is due to face WBC mandatory challenger Viktor Postol in his next defense<\/p>\n
Super lightweight champion Jose Ramirez’s next fight will presumably still be against mandatory WBC challenger Viktor Postol, but it won’t be on November 30th<\/a>. Ramirez revealed on Twitter today that he underwent surgery on his left hand two weeks after knocking out Maurice Hooker in a WBC\/WBO unification<\/a>, and while he “could be back in the ring in Dec[ember),” the lack of available dates has him targeting an “early 2020” return.<\/p>\n Had surgery 2 weeks after my July 27th fight. I can’t use until 6-8 weeks post surgery.
